Brad Delp Ended His Life with Carbon Monoxide

Boston singer Brad Delp's death has been ruled a suicide. Delp ended his life by sealing himself in the master bathroom of his apartment and turning on two charcoal grills. His fiancee Pamela Sullivan found him.

Delp left notes on the doors of the apartment warning anyone who entered of the carbon monoxide. Atkinson police Lt. William Baldwin said:

"We found a note on the door in the garage which led into the house, and we found another note on his bedroom door, 'caution carbon monoxide,' and then there was a little statement on there. We went looking for him. We didn't see him at first."

His family made the following statement:

"He was a man who gave all he had to give to everyone around him, whether family, friends, fans, or strangers. He gave as long as he could, as best he could, and he was very tired. We take comfort in knowing that he is now, at last, at peace."

Terrell Owens Denies Suicide Attempt

There is uncertainty over what really happened to Terrell Owens last night. According to the Smoking Gun, which obtained a copy of the police report before it was officially released:

The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, 32, was depressed and told cops that he was trying to harm himself, the report states. A female companion of the athlete told officers that Owens last week filled a prescription for 40 pain pills, but had only taken five of the pills up to yesterday. Owens told police that he had taken the balance of the pills last night.

Owens was taking generic Vicodin (hydrocodone) to relieve the pain of his recently broken hand. He says the Vicodin mixed with supplements he is taking caused him to become ill.

He said Wednesday the confusion likely stemmed from an empty bottle of pain medication found by his publicist, who was with him at the time and called 911. He said the rest of the pills were in a drawer.

The police report has since been officially released with the parts about suicide blacked out. When asked why he answered "yes" when asked if he was trying to harm himself, Owens said, "I wasn't coherent as they probably thought I was. A number of people were asking me questions. I don't remember the police officers that were in there or the doctors that were in there."
