Sinatra's Pianist Bill Miller Dies at 91
Frank Sinatra's longtime pianist Bill Miller, 91, has died in Montreal. After suffering a fall and breaking a hip two weeks ago, he then had a heart attack and underwent bypass surgery but died of complications. He played with Sinatra for almost 50 years - until Sinatra's death in 1998.
"There are lots of great piano players but to be an accompanist to a singer is really an art form," said Al Viola, who was Sinatra's longtime guitarist. "It's a conversation, but you really have to listen and pay respect to the singer."
