Moral Majority Founder Jerry Falwell Dead at 73
The Rev. Jerry Falwell died today at the age of 73 after being found unconscious in his office. His death is believed to be related to his longtime heart problems.
Dr. Carl Moore, Falwell’s physician, said the evangelist had had a heart rhythm abnormality. He said Falwell was found without a pulse and never regained consciousness.
