Larry King Recovering from Carotid Endarterectomy
Larry King successfully underwent surgery on Friday to remove plaque from the carotid arteries in the neck. The procedure is called a carotid endarterectomy.
"Larry is doing great and he is excited to be back on the air Monday night with an interview with Senator Barack Obama as we mark the fourth anniversary of the Iraq war," the network says in a statement.
In 1987, King had a heart attack and underwent a quintuple bypass. Since then, he has given more than $4.5 million to cardiac patients in need of financial aid through the Larry King Cardiac Foundation.

Hello. I just needed to make you aware that some parts of your website are hard to comprehend for me, as I am color blind. I suffer from deuteranopia, but there are other varieties of color blindness that will also have issues. I can understand the majority of the site Okay, and those areas I have problems with I can understand by employing a adapted browser. However, it'd be nice if you could bear in mind we color-blind people when doing the next website redesign. Thanks.
