French Director Gérard Oury Dead at 87
French directory Gérard Oury has died in Saint-Tropez at the age of 87. Oury's films include "Les Adventures de Rabbi Jacob," "La Grande Vadrouille," "La Folie des Grandeurs" and "La Schpountz."
Oury, who began as an actor, directed a series of hit films that keep the French laughing today ... President Jacques Chirac, in a statement, called Oury's movies "an integral part of our culture and our imagination."
