Don Ho Dies of Heart Failure at 76

Don Ho died on Saturday of heart failure. Back in September, we reported that he had received a new pacemaker after undergoing VesCell stem cell therapy for his heart back in December 2005.

Hawaiians and people around the world are morning his passing.

"He was a giant in our business, and the best known Hawaiian ever. All over the world, people know Don Ho -- even those who don't know of Duke Kahanamoku or Kamehameha The Great, know Don," said singer Carmen Haugen.
