Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Dies
Steve Irwin, the popular Australian television personality known as the Crocodile Hunter, has been killed by a stingray while filming an underwater documentary. Irwin was filming a series called "Ocean's Deadliest" when the barb on the tail of the stingray pierced his chest and put a hole in his heart. He was 44.
Prime Minister John Howard, who hand-picked Irwin to attend a gala barbecue to honor President Bush when he visited in 2003, said he was "shocked and distressed at Steve Irwin's sudden, untimely and freakish death."

I feel so bad for his family. He brought such a light to so many people, and he seemed like such a wonderful man. He is going to be missed.
