Cleopatra Jones Star Tamara Dobson Dies
Actress Tamara Dobson has died in Baltimore at the age of 59 after a long struggle with multiple sclerosis.
Dobson, who was diagnosed with MS six years ago, passed away at Baltimore's Keswick Multi-Care Center, where she had lived for the past two years, according to the rep, the Associated Press reports.
Dobson became famous for her roles in two Cleopatra Jones movies in the 1970s, Cleopatra Jones and Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold. The two "blaxploitation" films put the former model's name on the map.
