Actor Glenn Ford Dies

Glenn Ford
Actor Glenn Ford, 90, has died in Beverly Hills. Ford had been in failing health due to a series of strokes in recent years and cancelled an appearance on May 1st at his 90th birthday tribute in Hollywood.

Ford's movies include The Blackboard Jungle, The Big Heat, Gilda, Midway, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, and Superman, among many others.

Paramedics called to Ford's home today found Ford dead, police Sergeant Terry Nutall said, reading a prepared statement. "They do not suspect foul play," he said.

It made me sad to see this. I have fond memories of going to see Glenn Ford westerns with my dad when I was young.
